The International Association of Prosecutors invited Public Prosecution of the Sultanate of Oman to take part in the 29th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors, which was held in Baku. The invitation came from Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event discussed several issues on establishing flexible prosecution agencies, the applications of artificial intelligence in prosecutorial tasks, combating cybercrimes, the role of prosecutors in upholding the rule of law in the digital age, and tackling corruption.
The conference will also include bilateral meetings with international counterparts to strengthen relations and build bridges of communication to promote joint cooperation in criminal investigations.
The visits program included meetings between the Attorney General and the accompanying delegation with the Prosecutors General of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey to explore ways of strengthening international judicial cooperation in the field of criminal justice and exchange their experiences to develop their performance and build their capacities. A consultative meeting was also held with the Executive Director of the International Association of Prosecutors.
